Misc Notes: By 1969 Andy Parypa (bass) -- as seen at top/left -- of Tacoma's original SONICS, was the last original member left in THE SONICS. He briefly soldiered on with new members before deciding to sell them the band's name, equipment van, and PA system. Jim Brady -- who very briefly had filled in as a new lead singer -- took charge and JIM BRADY and THE SONICS [See video...] began playing softer pop music in local lounges and nightclubs. The act was later called BRADY-HIATT and THE SONICS and, finally, BRADY-HIATT.
