Misc Notes: Former Seattle Youth Symphony violinist Linder Chlarson - who had recently returned to the USA after studying music in Paris for the preceding two years - came to Seattle to participate in 1953's summer program, the Pacific Northwest Music Camp (outside the Cascade Mountains town of North Bend, WA). In 1954 he teamed up with writer JRR Tolkien, and ended up composing a soundtrack for the Fellowship of The Rings.
