Misc Notes: In the early 1960s Marsha Maye Covey started out singing in a Moses Lake group called The Continentals. Her brother, Ron Covey, was The Continental's guitarist. After The Continentals morphed into The Bards, she fronted Marsha Maye And The Ravins (1963 - 1967), again, with Ron on guitar. Maye was also named Miss Moses Lake -- and in 1969-'70 -- Miss Teenage Washington.
