According to Northwest musicologist Peter Blecha, a copy of this 45 was found in the estate effects of Seattle recording studio pioneer/legend Joe Boles.

Was it recorded at Boles' Custom Recorders? The record's connection to the Northwest is unclear although the publishing company on "Hoppin' With Emily" is Cornerstone Publ. which was owned by Bob Reisdorff of Seattle's Dolphin/Dolton Records
