MISC NOTES: Black and white artist photo cardboard picture sleeve. Barie's Tavern Renton, Washington. "Singer/songwriter/guitarist Dale Marwood has been penning songs and performing around Puget Sound for years, Those same years have seen Dale issue a number of records either on his own or as a member of The Dirty Beaver Jug Band. His latest effort comes with Ambush, a country rock group that broke up a year before this, the act's first disc was released. As for a and that no longer exists putting out a record, Dale says it was done both for former Ambush members and as a memento for fans garnered by the act's year and a half of club dates in the community of Renton just south of Seattle. Marwood characterizes "It's Not Easy Havin' Fun" as an up tempo number with a definite country feel. A novelty tune, it lyrically deals with the humorous side of the morning after a weekend's partying. As for "I Can Get Off On You", Mr. Marwood says the tune, popularized by co-writers Willie Nelson and Waylon Jennings, was recorded because of its popularity with Ambush audiences. Compared to the original, Ambush's version is faster and features more vocal harmony." The preceding originally appeared in NORTHWEST DISC-COVERIES & SOUND REPORT  Volume 6 #1 March, 1981.
