"Six Weeks In Reno" / "You Facinate Me"

SERIAL#: 45-199
DATE: 1981-02

MISC NOTES: Debut single from an Oklahoma born country artist now residing in the southern California community of Apple Valley east of Los Angeles Richards, now retired from a twenty-five year career in the Navy, divided his time between the sea and the stage before heading into the studio to lay down tracks on his first original recordings. Commenting on the recordings, Richards characterizes "Six Weeks In Reno" as an uptempo country tune with lyrics penned from his performing experiences in the Nevada gambling mecca where a divorce takes six weeks and a new love can be found overnight. As for "You Fascinate Me", Skip says this slow country love song was inspired by his wife. [NORTHWEST DISC-COVERIES & SOUND REPORT Volume 7 #4 June, 1982.]
