MISC NOTES:

This disc's  label  credits "Tears"  to Bob Greene. The tune was actually written by Kent Morrill and Rich Dangel of Tacoma, WA's Wailers.

"Tears"  first appeared in 1965 (Side 2, Track #1) on the album Wailers!!!! Wailers Everywhere (Etiquette #023).

In April, 1966 "Tears"  re-appeared as the B side of the The Wailers' northwest 45 rpm release of "It's You Alone " (Etiquette #24). (Different recording?)  After that, both tracks were issued nationally on the United Artists  (UA - 50026) label.

During the summer of 1966 the national success of the  UA "It's You Alone" single lead to United Artists releasing a Wailers album entitled  Outburst  (UAL #3557 ). The package included a track entitled "Tears" with the subtitle "Don't Have To Fall." That was an entirely  different "Tears." It was  written by "It's You Alone" composer R.  (Ron) Wayne Davies.
