MISC NOTES: After four years of successfully issuing records on the Etiquette label, it was decided that perhaps they had been flooding the market and needed to launch a sister label for a series of new releases. The name Riverton was chosen as it was a community between Tacoma and Seattle located near the teen-dance hot-spot, the Spanish Castle Ballroom, located at Midway, Washington.
