Misc Notes: Al Capps was the teenaged leader of his own Al Capps Quartet in Seattle in the mid-to-late 1950s. They were included on some shows along with the Frantics. He later headed off to Hollywood where he got involved in the music biz, and was the composer of numerous songs recorded by other artists. He is probably the Allan Capps who was, at some point, a member of the Eligibles. Little has been documented about him, but the archives at the Seattle's Musicians Union (AFM Local 76-493) reveal this info:

- Born 4/26/39 in Capps City Arkansas
- His mother Mrs. Opal Capps signed his application, dad was Alfonzo Capps
- Lists being a “not complete” member of AFM Local 493
- Lived at 545 (or 345) E 57th in Seattle
- Member AFM-76 (1957-1968)
- Air Force ROTC (at some point)
- U.W. student
- Diploma from Edison Technical School in 1957
- Member of AFTRA
- Lived at 8489 Hollywood Blvd, Los Angeles
