Misc Notes: Coffee Dan's restaurant opened for business in Seattle on February 26, 1930. It was situated at 1630 7th Avenue -- directly across the street from the Fox Theatre at 7th Avenue and Olive Way. Dancing to the house orchestra -- as led by co-owner J. N. Pinnard -- was offered six nights a week. Launched mere months after the stock market crash of '29, and the beginnings of the Great Depression, the business was short-lived.
