Misc Notes: It was 1992 when Portland’s Terrance “Cool Nutz” Scott co-founded, with fellow Portland rapper/producer Bosco Kante, Jus Family Records. In 1994 he released the cassette single “Playervision” / “Notoz,” and in ’95 co-founded the Portland Oregon Hip-Hop Festival. In 1997 his debut record, Harsh Game for the People, was released, and in 1998 Jus Family his Speakin’ Upon a Million album as well as On a Mission album by Portland’s G-ism, which featured the rappers Ray Ray and Young Randall. Cool Nutz continued releasing as many as eleven more albums up into 2018.
