Misc Notes: Steel guitarist John Coppock (1899-1959) was the son of Jesse Coppock (1863-1951) -- a Quaker Minister from Ohio who married Luella Woolverton (1875-1953) at Red Wood Falls, Minnesota, back on December 7, 1898. MISC NOTES: The Sunset label mistakenly credits Dave Mahuka, as vocalist rather than Paul Coppock. Sunset is one of the earliest and rarest West Coast labels. One of these discs was gifted to Peter Blecha by John Coppock's son. Sunset is considered one of the rarest West Coast labels by astute collectors.
