MISC NOTES: The Dominions's drummer, Larry Rodman, shared these recollections via YouTube: "The band was started in the fall of 1964. I heard there was a guy starting a band, so I went home and brought my drums back to campus (Morton Hall, at the time). As I was carrying them inside, Ken came by and said 'Are those yours?' I said 'Yes,' and he said, 'You're in the band!'"

"The song was written by Ken Paxton and Ron Techel. Ron sings the intro, and Ken sings the bridge. The sax player was John Peters. I believe the lead guitar was still Bob Nosler, from Bend, at that time.

"When we went over to the Graves Studio -- which at the time was in the basement of his house, Mrs Graves had to move her ironing board and laundry in order for us to set up. We made 500 copies...and sold them in record stores in Eugene and Springfield."
