Misc Notes: Josie Wilson -- owner of Blue Horizon Records, and the mother of Ventures' rhythm guitarist Don Wilson -- "discovered" Canadian singer Douglas Longley in a San Francisco nightclub. She invited him to contact her if he ever came to Seattle. He did, and she booked him into Joe Boles Custom Recorders, where he was backed by the Ventures on his two Blue Horizon 45 rpm releases.
