Misc Notes: A copy of this record - on one of the three labels listed below - accompanied the book The North American Waterfowler written by Debutone Records owner Paul Bernsen (Copyright 1972 Superior Publishing Company Seattle, WA). As noted by the label names, the publication was picked up and distributed by at least two national outdoors/hunting-oriented book clubs.
Some sources refer to Professor Dye having also issued a record album compressing a six hour duck calling class into 40 minutes. As of 6/5/20 it is unclear if such an album exists or if the "album" reference somehow relates to The Art Of Duck Calling 45.

MISC NOTES: These discs were recorded and issued as an accompaniment to the hardbound book The North American Waterfowler by Paul S. Bernsen (owner of Debutone Records). At some point during 1972 the Debutone labeled discs accompanying the books were replaced by discs on the FIELD & STREAM BOOK CLUB label. These labels feature the wording "Mfg. In Canada." This does not mean Field & Stream was a Canadian label. During the early 1970s, because of the favorable monetary exchange rate, many Northwest records were pressed by Imperial Record Corp. located in Vancouver, B.C., Canada. "Some First Edition books were printed with the fronts piece notation: Five - hundred copies of this limited edition have been printed, of which this is number: 264." (Number rubber stamped). Other copies noted as "First Edition" printed without preceding numbering information. Although Debutone Records was based in Moses Lake, WA, the duck call labels featured Harry Dye's Seattle business address..
