Misc Notes: Kurt Cobain's guitar-playing aunt is his mother's sister, Mari Karolyn Fradenburg. She performed in bands around Grays Harbor County as Mari Karolyn Earl. She reportedly supported Cobain's early music-making, letting him use her instruments and record a few rough songs at her abode. She is also credited as Mari Gore-Earl on Claudia Manning's 1982 Collage LP.
