Misc Notes: Kurt Cobain's mother's sister, Mari Fradenburg, sang and played guitar in several bands around Grays Harbor County. She also supported Cobain's early music-making, teaching him some guitar techniques, letting him use her instruments, and letting him record a few rough songs on her TEAC tape deck. As Mari Karolyn Earl she recorded a solo single in Seattle, and as Mari Gore-Earl she contributed to Claudia Manning's 1982 Collage LP.
