Misc Notes: In 1922 pianist Billy Emerick was based at Portland's KXL radio. One of their  popular programs, the Howling Order of Portland Tom Cats, featured music by Billy Emerick and the Tom Cat Serenaders, as backed by Emmet Bernstein and the Tom Cat Orchestra. Later he moved up to Seattle's KOMO radio, and while there he also accompanied Douglas Richardson on his 1927 recordings for Columbia Records. Later he was featured on his own Columbia disc.
