Misc Notes: Dave Holden was the keyboard-playing son of Seattle's jazz patriarch, Oscar Holden. He is also the brother of fellow musicians: Oscar Holden Jr., Ron Holden, Grace Holden, and Jimmy Holden. He began playing organ in Seattle nightclubs with the Billy Tolles Trio in the 1950s. Later he played extended lounge gigs in Los Angeles, Las Vegas, and Alaska -- sometimes working as a duo with the singer, Virginia "Vee Jay" Jackson.
