Misc Notes: Born in Kansas, Ann Jones later moved to the West Coast and scored a  deal with Capitol Records in 1949. In 1952 she resettled, for a time,  in Vancouver, Washington, where she worked as a radio DJ at KVAN, and soon began performing with Rusty Myers and the Western Stars. In August 1953 she formed the Western Sweethearts. Her earliest King label recordings were cut in Cincinnati with studio players, but later she recorded with her own band for the Audio Lab label, and her own Sweetheart Records.
