Misc Notes: Walter "Lucky Lee" Leisi was a local country singer who promoted himself as "America’s Most Colorful Hillbilly Indian." He led a band called the Blue Diamonds in the early 1960s and around 1963 it included Dewey Martin (drums), just prior to him leading Sir Raleigh and the Cupons. In 1965 Lee moved on to Denver, and then to Nashville. While there, he recorded for Decca Records at Bradley's Barn with the vocal backing of the Jordanaires.
