Misc Notes: In the early 1960s Marsha Maye Covey started out singing in a Moses Lake-based group called The Fabulous Continentals that also included her brother, Ron Covey (guitar). After The Continentals morphed into the Bards, she fronted Marsha Maye and the Ravins (1963 - 1967), again, with Ron on guitar. Maye was also named Miss Moses Lake -- and in 1969-'70: Miss Teenage Washington.
