Misc Notes: Sammy "Singin' Sam" Little was one of the Northwest's contributors* to the 1970s 18-wheel trucker / Citizen Band radio (CB) song-topic fad. Little, a singer / songwriter / guitarist, was a long-haul trucker who had strong ties to Alaskan routes including The Dalton ("Kamikazi Trail" "Haul Road", "Ice Road") Highway. During the early to mid-1970s, this road supplied construction materials and other necessities to the Alyeska Trans-Alaska pipeline project. Little is noted, and the lyrics to his song "Kamikaze Trail" are presented, in the 2017 book Historic Roads Of Alaska (pg. 52). He is also quoted in Dermot Cole's book Amazing Pipeline Stories (pg. 41).
