Misc Notes: Born 10/21/1932 on a farm near Combs, AR, guitarist / singer Franklin Delano Gulledge was, by the early / mid-1950s, performing and recording under the stage Frank Starr. In 1956, when he went into the studio to cut additional recordings, the stage name was changed to Andy Starr in order to avoid confusion with an Arizona singer, Frankie Starr who had previously released a record on the Decca label. Later, Andy returned to working as Frank. He died 9/12/2003 in Idaho.

MISC NOTES: There is at least one know bootleg (unofficial) pressing of "I Wanna Go South" available. It is on MGM and - to the naked eye - the label looks exactly like the original. Fortunately, this is a "one sided" (No B track) release with stamper code information as follows: 56 XY 297 1973 .
