Misc Notes: James "Tomcat" Thomas had been the manager of the Rocking Kings, then he decided to form and lead his own group. Thomas and his Tomcats formed around 1960. Jimmy Hendrix quit to enlist in the U.S. Army in June 1961. Their sole record from August, 1961, did not include his guitar-work.
