Misc Notes:
Thorndike Pickledish - and its incarnations - were novelty creations of voice actor and 1970s Seattle (KVI/KOL) disc jockey Robert O. Smith. "Rubber Dough" came to Seattle from California.
A stout man, Smith was a power weight lifter. In 1983 he moved to British Columbia, Canada, but would occasionally return to the Puget Sound region for weight lifting competitions.
