Misc Notes: Donny Ulrich was a kid fiddler who played with Tex Mitchell's country band, then gigged as a guitarist with the Tumwater-based rock band the Blue Saturns. Then with Tacoma's Jimmy Torrence and the Jazzmasters. An Olympia High School graduate of '59 -- who even backed the Fleetwoods in performance a time or two -- he went on to fame as "Don Rich" with Buck Owens' Buckaroos.
