Misc Notes: By February 1936 S. "Sky" Arlo Woodard was advertising in the Seattle Post-Intelligencer newspaper that he was a Harmonica Instructor available to teach "Men, Women, child'n." On June 12, 1936, Arlo Woodard appeared at Seattle's Neptune Theatre as a finalist in a talent contest. Woodard was a talented harmonica player / dancer and by November of that year he was advertising his "Harmonica Rapid Course" lessons from a studio at 806 Pine Street in The Seattle Times. In the 1950s he operated the Orcas Island label, and later co-wrote (with Dallas Hickman) a 1962 Seattle World's Fair novelty song. In 1964 Woodard was noted in the Seattle Post-Intelligencer for having composed music to accompany the lyrics to a novelty song - "What is the Weather, Walter Rue" - as penned by Seattle's Idella J. Nickols in reference to that newspaper's weatherman.
