MISC NOTES: Recorded some time back, but only now gaining release via a "small hole" 45 rpm record are two cuts from a Seattle new wave group called The Enemy.  The months intervening have seen the band performing their brand of "innovative", high energy rock" throughout the U.S., but release of the record has been timed to coincide with the group's return to live performances after several months of rehearsing new material. Group members explain that the uptempo "I Need An Enemy" portrays the philosophy around which the band was organized which is, neither they, nor anyone else needs others telling them what, or who, to be. "Want Me", they say, is similar in that it, too, is an uptempo song with a "don't tell me what to be" message focused on love relationships.
