MISC NOTES: "Debut single from a 28-year-old singer/songwriter/guitarist born and raided in the Bremerton, Washington area. For the past six years, until January of 1979 Mark was associate with a rock group from that city known variously as Step Lightly, The RPMs or Windfall.  It was while touring throughout the Northwest with the band that the two songs presented here were composed. March characterizes "(I Can Feel) Your Heartbeat" as a mid-tempo easy listening rock tune featuring Beatleque harmonies. Lyricall, it's a "happily ever after" love story. As for "Your Mama Knows", Peterson says it is another mid-tempo, flowing rock song lyrically focusing on the long lasting love of a parent with flashes to s own childhood.
