MISC NOTES: The Cash Box Magazine 1961: "NEW YORK — Don Sanders and Joe Gottfried jointly announced last week the formation of the Stellar Record Co., with headquarters at 200 W. 57th St. First release for the new label couples “Don’t Cry Linda” and “Yours Or Mine” by Richie Ito. Sanders was formerly national sales manager for Cadence Records; Gottfried previously held the post of A&R chief for Adonis Records." Stellar would also appear to be associated with the publishing company, Willow Music Corp. (ASCAP) as they were both doing business from the same address.
MISC NOTES: It is believed that RICHIE ITO's name was later changed to DEL RICHARDSON for marketing purposes.
