MISC NOTES: The headline for Tobias is "less than a year from formation to release of their first recording."  This five piece rock from coalesced some nine months ao in Portland, Oregon. Composed of musicians who had know or performed with one another over a number of years, Tobias immediately moved both into the area club scene and the recording studio to work on taping some of their numerous original tunes. Two of those have just been released as a 45 rpm single. Commenting on the recordings which focuses on a general theme of decisions and choices each person faces in life, Gavin Pursinger characterizes his "Choices" as an up tempo, rock-oriented number with a straight forward, raw feel to the music. Lyrically it focuses on a general theme of decisions and choices each person faces in life. Tobias' David Namen points to  "You Took My Love" is a song about lost love which is packaged in an up tempo rock arrangement accenting multiple vocal harmonies. Music and words by Rob Inglish.
