This song was written as a tribute to Seattle's multipurpose sports stadium, the Kingdome.  Because the melody was based on the Beach Boys'  hit tune "In My Room,"  use  of that melody required  approval of the group or their music publisher. That permission was ultimately denied, so the record was never officially released to the public. However, copies did slip out over time....
