"J.A.J.", composed by NW keyboard legend Dave Lewis, references Lewis's guitarist  "Jive Ass Jerry" Allen.

At The Mardi Gras" refers not to the New Orleans annual celebration but, a restaurant / nightspot located at 2407 E. Madison St. in Seattle's Central District.
