MISC NOTES:
Thirty-four year old Larrry Price was born and raised in southwestern Washington. For the past sixteen of those years he's been into performing music, a little of everything from rock into country. For the past several years he and his friends have been known as the showgroup Larry Price and Northwest Express. Several months back the act took time off to record two original tunes that had been getting good audience response during the band's numerous club appearances. The recording project has since turned into the group's first record. Larry points to "Rendezvous Hotel" as a mid tempoed country number about a love affair with "an interesting twist." As for "Goodtime Lady", he characterizes the tune as an up tempo progressive country number with rock leanings. Lyrically it has a light focus on a good looking woman.
The preceding originally appeared in NORTHWEST DISC-COVERIES & SOUND REPORT Volume 1 #5 August, 1980.
