Misc Notes: Next to nothing is known about this band. Perhaps they were a road band that performed at the Savoy Ballroom (203 E. Madison Street) and ended up recording downtown and Northwest Recorders. The Savoy opened for business in 1948 and in 1955 was recast as The Birdland. An Olin Dufur was noted in the U.S. Census. If this was the same man, he would have been in his early thirties when he was gigging in Seattle.
