MISC NOTES: "Debut single from a thirty one year old singer/songwriter/guitarist long calling the Olympic Peninsula area of Washington State his home. After learning to play guitar and write songs in order to pursue a love of singing, Willie joined the ranks of professional performing some three years back and, most recently is found playing Peninsula area clubs with his country rock band Clearwater Junction. Still as a songwriter, he says one of the things he wanted to do most was record some of his original compositions. He saw that dream come true via Seattle's Audio Recording and Topaz Records. Commenting on his recordings, Willie characterizes "I Got Drunk" as a mid-tempo country tune with "working man' lyrics. As for "Body Rhythm", the song is tagged as a danceable country rock number about a dancehall love affair." [NORTHWEST-DISCOVERIES & SOUND REPORT Volume 7 #6 August, 1982.]
