Misc Notes: Frankie Roth and his Chicagoans made their local debut playing dances  at the Blakewood roadhouse on the "New" Seattle-Everett Highway in May 1931. BY 1933 Frankie Roth and his Orchestra were appearing live weekly on Seattle's KOL radio. Trumpeter Roth and his long-active ensemble were based at numerous different Seattle-are ballrooms over the years -- including Parker's Ballroom, Eagles Auditorium, and the Trianon Ballroom -- and adjusted their name accordingly. By 1933 were being billed as Frankie Roth and his Spanish Castle Orchestra and in 1943 The Seattle Times noted that they were about to launch their "11th consecutive year there."
