MISC NOTES: Rick Dey and his band the Wilde Knights recorded his original song, "Just Like Me," in Ted Brinson's garage-based studio. Among the other records cut by Brinson was the Wipe Out album by the Impacts (a Del-Fi Records surf group). Meanwhile, that band had some dealings with Roger Hart, a Portland, OR radio DJ, who also managed Paul Revere and The Raiders. In 1965 "Just Like Me" was re-recorded the Raiders and relessed by Columbia (4 - 43461) becoming a national hit. Interestingly, on that single, the composer of the song Dey's was given co-composer credit along with Roger Hart.
