The Fabulous Wailers

MISC NOTES:  In February 1959 the Golden Crest team recorded the Wailers at the Knights of Columbus Hall in Lakewood, Washington. The songs captured that night were: "Scotch On The Rocks", "Road Runner", "Mau-Mau", "Snakepit" and "Dirty Robber". By April, "Scotch" had been recast as "Tall Cool One" and released as the band's debut single. The rest of the songs on this album - including this second version of "Dirty Robber" - were recorded in New York in June 1959, and the album was released that December with high hopes for holiday gift-buying season.
