"Walk-Don't Run" / "Home"

MISC NOTES: The Ventures decided to go into the studio and record these songs after Both Bob Reisdorff (at Dolton Records) and then Jerry Dennon (at Jerden Records) passed on signing the band to recording contracts based on live auditions at their respective offices. Immediately upon release on Blue Horizon, DJ Pat O'Day at Seattle's KJR radio aired this record and Reisdorff called the station, now suddenly ready to license the song for re-release on Dolton.

RECORDING PERSONNEL: Don Wilson (rhythm guitar), Bob Bogle (lead guitar), Nokie Edwards (bass), and Skip Moore (drums). NOTE: Soon after completing this recording Bogle and Edwards agreed to switch instruments.
