APPEALS, The

Homebase: Seattle, WA.
Stats:
Misc Notes:

This was the first band formed by Mike Rogers (keys), who later joined the Viceroys. In the 1980s when Peter Blecha interviewed him, he mentioned  The Appeals and how he hazily remembered an early recording session they'd done at some downtown studio in 1957. Blecha said one word: "Thunderbolt" -- and Rogers was astonished. He couldn't believe someone had found an original acetate disc from the session.
