MISC NOTES: This single was recorded by the Raiders while Paul Revere -- being a Quaker and conscientious objector -- was in Oregon doing his alternate service after being drafted by the military. The rest of the band carried onĀ for a while, recording a couple songs, and finishing up some dance bookings. Los Angeles studio pianist, Leon Russell, filled in for Revere on a temporary basis. Then the group broke up, until Revere and Mark Lindsay revived it with new members in Portland in late-1962.
